A Temagami canoe trip is an amazing way to see some of Ontario’s classic Canadian Shield. Temagami is a land cloaked in mystery, controversy, and rugged beauty. It is home to some of the few remaining old growth pine forests left in the world. You will have a chance to hike beneath a cathedral of towering red and white pine trees on the Wakimika Triangle trail and gaze out at the stunning view of Obabika lake. During your trip, you will be able to catch a glimpse of the past while you visit an old logging camp filled with treasures left behind by the men who lived, worked, and played within the area.
